Pediatric Otolaryngology is a specialized subset of Otolaryngology which deals with the treatment of pediatric patients; children, toddlers and infants. Although a specialized field, all board-certified otolaryngologists have been trained in pediatric ear, nose and throat care.

As children are physiologically different from adults, guidlines for diagnosis and treatment are different, as are the various disorders and diseases.

For more information on various pedatric ear, nose and throat disorders ranging from food allergies to hearing loss to chronic sinusitis, as well as the guidlines for pediatric otolaryngological care, visit the American Society of Otolaryngology.
