Dr. Margaret (Meg) Arnold came to Maryland in 1987 as a college student. She attended Western Maryland College where she achieved a Bachelors of Art in Social Work in 1992. After graduation Meg moved to Baltimore where she resided for 8 years. In that time frame she decided social work was a poor fit, and landed a job as a library assistant in Sinai Hospital’s medical library. This is where she realized her love of medicine. After researching several allied health occupations, Meg chose audiology and attended Towson University where she graduated with her Bachelor’s of Science in Communication Science and Disorders in 1998, and her Masters in Audiology in 2000. Meg then completed her Clinical Fellowship year in 2002 at the Florida Hearing Care Centers in Boynton Beach, Florida. Meg came to the eastern shore in 2003 and opted to take a break from audiology. Ultimately she missed audiology as an occupation, so Meg went back to school and achieved her Doctorate of Audiology from the University of Florida in 2013. Dr. Arnold joined our practice in 2015. Meg likes to spend her free time gallivanting around with her German Shepherd Lucy.
Ms. Candy, a native of Eastern Shore, has been with ESENTA since 2006. She started as a scribe for Dr. Gaul shortly after graduating from Parkside High School in 2005. While working full time, Denise went to Chesapeake College, achieving her degree as a surgical technologist and a certified nursing assistant (CNA) in 2011. She began working as a medical assistant in our clinic, but audiology piqued her interest. Denise is now a certified audiology assistant with certifications in diagnostic testing and amplification, which she achieved through Nova Southeastern University in 2014. She is an integral part of the audiology team and assists the audiologists with hearing tests, scheduling, VNG testing, hearing aid repairs, helping our patients on a daily basis, and so much more. Denise enjoys spending her down time with her husband and beautiful baby girl.
