Dr Ahmad is a board-certified otolaryngologist and fellowship-trained pediatric Otolaryngologist. She grew up in Pocomoke, MD and is a proud graduate of Pocomoke High School.
She continued her education at West Chester University in Pennsylvania where she graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. She completed her medical education at Drexel University College of Medicine in Philadelphia, PA. She remained in Philadelphia and completed her residency at Temple University School of Medicine. Dr. Ahmad completed her pediatric Otolaryngology subspecialty training at the Children’s Hospital of Michigan in Detroit. She has extensive experience with very complex clinical and surgical cases. She spent seven years as an Assistant Professor at Stony Brook University Hospital where she dedicated her time to a busy pediatric practice and training residents as residency program director. Dr. Ahmad is excited to bring her skills and expertise back to the Eastern Shore of Maryland and serve the community.
In her free time, she enjoys gardening and spending time with her family.
